Ernest Smith age year son of Mr and Mrs Corbett Smith four miles west of West Monroe was severely burned at 6 o clock last night when he pulled a tub of hot water off a chair in the home He was taken to St Francis sanitarium where burns were dressed and not considered dangerous though he remained there last night Mrs Smith had just finished washing and saw the baby near the tub as he reached the handle and pulled it over himself.
