Marines and Viets trap North Vietnamese battalion in DMZ

U S Marines and Vietnamese paratroopers cornered an estimated North Vietnamese battalion in the Demilitarized Zone Sunday and reported 342 enemy killed. The strike followed air battles over Hanoi and Haiphong with multiple MIG downings and a Haiphong power plant bombing. U S casualties stood at 50 dead and 543 wounded since Thursday.

FBI Nabs One Of Its Ten Most Wanted

Thomas F. Dorman, a top FBI fugitive, was arrested in a wooded area near Grantsburg Indiana. He faces charges of unlawful interstate flight to avoid prosecution for kidnapping after a gunbattle with Maryland police during a robbery escape. His accomplice Clyde Edward Jaws was captured May 18 in Raytown Missouri. Federal agents with Indiana State Police and Crawford County Sheriff assisted.

Louisiana parishes desegregated under 5th Circuit ruling

Aycock Open to Running but Not Yet Committed
