Complex bank suit takes six judges
In New Orleans on May 17, the U S Fifth Circuit will hear arguments May 25 in a complex accounting dispute between the old Commercial National Bank of Shreveport and the new Commercial National Bank of Shreveport. The case fills 13 volumes and marks the second appeal after remand for retrial. J T Connolly, receiver for the old bank, and the new bank appeal the trial result, with several intervenors joining the brief.
