Tech prepares navy V-12 program at Louisiana Tech
Louisiana Tech will host the Navy V-12 training program for a 48 week term with three 1 week trimesters. Registration is set for July 1 2 and 3 and classes begin July 5 for college students and apprentice seamen. The college will operate a nine week and summer schedule with no September break.

Cadet Officer Training School Trains 125 in Louisiana
Under the American Legion program a three day Cadet Officer Training school was held April 22 23 and 24 at Northeast Junior College. Lieutenant Colonel Frederick L. Pond and Master Sergeant Harry E. Miller led 125 cadets from many northeast Louisiana high schools through drill rifle marksmanship boxing jiu jitsu and military courtesy. Instructors from the Northeast Junior College cadet battalion assisted as staff.
