Plane crash near Goose Creek kills three
Goose Creek Texas April 4 three people died when a plane carrying a pleasure party crashed about four miles north of town. Pilot James Kelso Stubbs 20 and Davis Leroy Arnett 21 of Baytown were gaugers at the Baytown refinery and Patti Mosser 20 a Lee Junior College student also of Baytown. The motor quit at about 1000 feet Brown who witnessed the crash said the craft nosed over and struck a wire fence before plunging to the ground. The wreckage demolished the craft and hurled the motor into the cockpit. All three were badly mangled.
