Plant Dedication Slated At Ruston
Gov. John McKeithen will join D. W. Stapleton Charles Hoffman and S. C. Turnbull in Ruston for the private dedication of the new Stowe Woodard plant on McDowall Avenue after a noon luncheon at the Holiday Inn. The plant will start with about 25 workers producing rubber coverings for large metal rollers used in paper mills and can handle rollers up to 6 feet in diameter and 120000 pounds.

Four Persons Injured In Area Wreck
Four people were injured in a head on collision on La 4 about 12 miles west of Columbia. Mrs Ouida Finley 36 her son Charles Finley 15 a 16 year old Donnie Mills and Mrs Phyllis Moore all of Monroe and Columbia area were treated at Columbia Heights Hospital. No charges filed pending investigation.
