Louisiana legislators have drawn an average salary of 10350 since taking office 13 months ago under Gov Jimmie H Davis. Special committees boosted several lawmakers to over 12000 with top earners like Sen J C Gilbert at 13546.04 and others including Sen Howard Jones and Rep Robert Munson. Boiler Explosion Scalds 32 at West Belmar Bingo
Thirty two people were injured when a boiler exploded at the firemen's hall during a bingo event in West Belmar New Jersey.
