Funeral Services Held for Local Resident Che Thomas

Che Thomas 59, once a Monroe plumber, died Sunday after a long illness. A brief home service at 1009 North Fourth Street preceded Mass at St Matthew’s Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Catholic cemetery. Survived by widow, two sons C. L. Thomas Jr and Frank, and two daughters Ruth and Blanche. pallbearers listed.

Members and officials from every church in the Monroe Methodist district travel to Shreveport for the Louisiana Conference assembly for pastors and Christian workers at Centenary College.
