Hodges Buys Interest in Monroe Home Appliance Firm
Hal R. Hodges, longtime Monroe merchant, acquires Bert Gregory’s stake in the Home Appliance company at 101 North Grand and will assume full management. He plans no staff changes and anticipates strong public cooperation, noting 21 years in merchandising and prior leadership at Sears and Montgomery Ward. He invites the public to visit and view the durable Frigidaire, Maytag, RCA and other brands offered at low prices.
