Fog Forces End To Gulf Search
New Orleans January 5 fog forced the coast guard to suspend its search for a missing twin engine plane with two aboard. The aircraft last seen Friday at 3 p m circling the Southwest Pass coast guard station as visibility dropped to 20 feet. The craft on a photographic flight was piloted by Ed Miramon of New Orleans with a second man identified only as Patterson who had chartered the plane.
