Three Boys Escape From Training Institute Ward
Three boys from the Louisiana Training Institute’s hospital ward escaped this morning as Judge Charles Schulze reported. They climbed from the second floor, with two obtaining clothes before departure. Dewey Brady of Bogalusa Martis Hyde of near Winnfield and Willis Dround of Crowley, all about 16, described by features. Brady had escaped four times previously, each time recaptured quickly. Hyde is tall with black hair, Brady also black haired, Drounet noted for a bad eye and French accent. Best, who escaped six weeks ago, returned and surrendered last night. two weeks earlier three other boys, Lafasso Ryan and Crowder Jr., were caught and returned.
