Berserk World War II veteran leaves 4 dead
Akron authorities report Irvin Snodgrass a 25 year old World War II veteran killed his parents and his sister's two children before setting a house fire. He claimed I did it to save them and planned to flee to Denver to avoid a hospital examination. Firefighters found the grandparents and two young children dead at the Sawywood house. The veteran was to be treated at Crile VA hospital near Cleveland.

France to add three divisions in continental duty
