Tornadoes Kill Three in Potosi Missouri and Sink Towns
Three people died and about 40 were injured as tornadoes hit Potosi and nearby towns in southeastern Missouri. In Potosi the storm damaged City Hall power plant a shopping center and 10 to 20 homes while 10 business buildings were destroyed. The injured were taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital.

Casualties Drop In Vietnam War During Past Week
Allied and enemy casualties fell in the seven day period ending last Saturday. U S forces reported 187 killed and 932 wounded, while South Vietnamese totals showed 278 government troops killed and 641 wounded. Enemies suffered 1 685 killed. Total U S KIA reached 15 646 and U S wounded 97 678 with 45 878 non hospitalized. About 472 000 American troops were in South Vietnam, including elements of the 101st Airborne Division.
