Annual Christmas play to be staged at school auditorium
The Sodality presents a Christmas program Thursday at 6 p.m. in the school auditorium. It features a one act play with a cast led by Mrs Bradford and includes three tableaux The Annunciation Visitation and Nativity with Sister M Elizabeth and Sister Mary Clare directing and Mr Wamsley accompanying the choir on violin.

Baton Rouge, Dec 17. Governor Sam Jones named Charles E. Tooke, Shreveport lawyer, as state civil service examiner with jurisdiction over police and fire departments in cities from 16 600 to 100 000 population.
