A. O. Evans, retired Louisiana Power and Light Co. northern division manager, dies after a long illness at Glenwood Hospital. He lived at 3401 Forsythe Ave. in Monroe and was 69. Evans held many local leadership roles including Rotary district governor, hospital board member, bank director, church steward, and West Monroe Chamber founder. Funeral at West Monroe First Methodist Church with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
