Hit-Run Car Injures Three in Stevens Point
An elderly couple and a blind woman were struck at a city intersection Sunday morning by a speeding car that fled. The 60-year-old car owner was later arrested after deputies and Army Reserve units searched brush near the city. John and Mrs Herman, both 71, are in critical condition. Julia Dufoe, 62, is blind and injured a hand but unharmed otherwise.
