Fire destroys Brugger barn and causes heavy loss in Wisconsin
A 214 foot barn on the John Brugger and Sons home farm between Monroe and Albany Wisconsin burned Saturday afternoon. Loss nears 100000 dollars with 30 calves 20 000 to 25 000 bales of straw and hay and a large oats feed bin destroyed. Fire discovered by motorists and Monroe fire crews aided by Juda Monticello and Albany departments battled the blaze. No injuries reported and plans to rebuild.

Stalin’s granddaughter baptized in Milwaukee church ritual
Olga Peters four month old daughter of Svetlana and Wesley Peters of Spring Green Wisconsin was baptized at An annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Milwaukee by Arch bishop Iakovos after consecration ceremonies. The church designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, described as an inverted saucer, was also consecrated in a five hour service with relics placed and an eternal light lit. Svetlana dodged comment on Khrushchev death.

Dane County Sheriff Vernon Leslie and Madison Detective Charles Lulling said two Madison men Karleton Armstrong 25 and Dwight Armstrong 20 were believed to be in Canada aiding by Royal Canadian Mounted Police. They targeted youth hostels in Ottawa and Toronto as part of the August 1970 Sterling Hall bombing and murder of Robert Fassnacht. Two other men David Fine 19 and Leo Burt 23 face murder warrants.
