Boyer 76 of Juda died at 1 50 p m Wednesday in St. Clare Hospital after a period as a medical patient He farmer and salesman He was born December 6 1892 in Clarno Township to John M and Hattie Berry Boyer He married Gertrude Matzke November 13 1913 They farmed in Jefferson Township then moved to Twin Grove in 1933 Later living in Juda since 1934 He and his wife ran nursing home facilities He survived by two daughters Ellen Mahikuch Ripon Ramona Retzlaff Monroe three sons Ivan Monroe Leland Lena Mi and John Argyle three sisters Letha Matzke Juda Bertha Bolender Orangeville IL Janice Camron Monroe fourteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren His wife died March 15 1968 Services 1 30 p m Saturday September 13 at Newcomer Funeral Home Monroe Rev Donald Sumwalt Zion Church of Juda officiating Burial Mount Vernon Cemetery Friends may call after 4 p m tomorrow

Man Arraigned In La Rue Slaying
Richard J. Olson, 26, of Aurora Illinois, arraigned in Sauk County on first degree murder, attempted murder, and armed robbery in the La Rue tavern slaying. He is held without bond pending Friday preliminary hearing. An unnamed accomplice was also arrested. Wanda L. Klingemeyer died from two head wounds. Lawrence Klingemeyer was wounded. Duane Klingemeyer, son, said his father reported hearing voices and a claim of “Give me the money.”
