John Olson 63 longtime Belleville businessman died around 9 Wednesday night September 10 at his Belleville home after a long illness. Man Arraigned In La Rue Slaying

Richard J. Olson, 26, of Aurora Illinois, arraigned in Sauk County on first degree murder, attempted murder, and armed robbery in the La Rue tavern slaying. He is held without bond pending Friday preliminary hearing. An unnamed accomplice was also arrested. Wanda L. Klingemeyer died from two head wounds. Lawrence Klingemeyer was wounded. Duane Klingemeyer, son, said his father reported hearing voices and a claim of “Give me the money.”
