Alder worked as yard goods clerk at Huffman dry goods and began with The Monroe Evening Times. Born June 28, 1883 in Blanchardville, she moved to Monroe in 1904 with her family. Survived by five brothers Louis, Robert, Fred, Charles, and Rodney. Funeral services Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Shriner Neushwander funeral home with Rev. Paul Olm officiating. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
