Mrs Hunt Dies in Berlin Cerebral hemorrhage ends career of Bancroft teacher
Mrs Perviance Hunt 61 of Bancroft native of Monroe and former rural and high school teacher died at 3 p m yesterday at Berlin Memorial hospital after a cerebral hemorrhage. Born May 20 1893 in Monroe she taught in several schools and became substitute teacher after marriage March 5 1921. Surviving husband a daughter a sister and two grandchildren. Funeral Saturday at 1 30 p m Shriner-Neuswander funeral home with burial in Greenwood cemetery.

Burglaries Solved in Lafayette County Case
Two Milwaukee youths aged 14 and 16 were arrested by Stephen son County officials and confessed to breaking into three Lafayette County businesses Tuesday night. They admitted the Argyle Hanson filling station and Bub s filling station in Argyle were broken into with thefts including candy maps cash and cigars. They waived extradition and will be questioned in Milwaukee and Madison. Wayne Eichstaadt, a former county youth, was sentenced to 13 years on three counts for break ins at Argyle, Wiota Co, and related crimes. Two Monroe men were sentenced to one to five years each for similar charges.
