Bud Elmer, 42, of 1713 28th Avenue, is reported in good condition at St. Clare hospital with a fractured pelvis after losing control of his truck on Blum Hill, Highway 81, five miles northwest of Monroe. The accident occurred at 11:15 p.m. and he was admitted at 11:40 p.m. A separate report from 5:22 a.m. notes a milk cow herd crossing County Trunk K near the Monroe cemeteries caused damage to a car driven by John J. Mean, 19, Route 2, though no injuries were reported.
