Becky Houser a Monroe High School senior and not a 4-H member was selected as drummer for the Wisconsin 4-H stage band after a special audition by UW professors. From over 600 appl icants 170 were chosen, and 20 formed a tour band for a 1963 fall trip to Whitehall Arcadia Ellsworth Eau Claire Rice Lake Cameron Tony and Menomonie with a Milwaukee teachers arena performance. Houser serves as band president and lead drummer at school and participates in multiple ensembles.
