Blood Donations Sought for Mrs Dale Surgery
Mrs Betty Dale of Monroe needs at least 15 pints of blood for open heart surgery at St Luke's Hospital Milwaukee on February 17. The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in Monroe December 1 at Turner Hall from 1 to 6 p.m. Donors should specify blood for Mrs Dale. She is staying with her mother Mrs Eugene Segner at 2402 11th St.

Baumgartner Dies Prominent Wisconsin Farmer at 89
William C. Baumgartner 89 of Route 2 Monroe died at 5 a.m. Wednesday November 25 in St. Clare Hospital after a stay since November 8. A longtime Green County farmer and Holstein breeder, he served on county and township boards and was active in 4-H and Farm Bureau.
