In San Francisco early today a policeman killed a man who yelled I am the Zodiac as he threatened his daughter with a knife. David O. Martin, 30, reportedly cut his daughter Kim's hair and nicked her throat before being fatally shot by Patrolman Thomas Burns while his wife Geraldine and son Fran fled. Zodiac remains at large as investigators note five known slayings in the Bay Area.
