Edna Mackey 74 of 1412 16th Ave died at St. Clare Hospital at 2 55 p m Monday November 20 from complications after a hip fracture on November 13 She retired in June 1955 after teaching two years in the Lincoln building and five years in West Clarno and Ball rural schools Born Edna L Miller November 27 1892 she studied at Monroe High School Green County Normal School Colorado University Wisconsin and Whitewater State University and traveled extensively in the United States Mexico and abroad.
