A propane gas pipeline from Hobbs New Mexico toward Leyden Wisconsin near Janesville nears completion within four days. The 2100 mile network extends from the Southwest to Leyden and St Paul with Wisconsin segment about 71.5 miles. Williams Brothers Co. and Mid America Pipeline Co. of Tulsa lead 200 workers, building trenches piping welding coating and final cleanup at Leyden junction of Highways 14 and 184 amid mixed weather and housing shortages.

Picker Mishaps Injure Two Men
Two Monroe area men were treated at St. Clare hospital in satisfactory condition after corn picker accidents yesterday. Robert Wells of Monticello, 25, lost his right forearm when it was entangled in the machine. Marvin Wild, 40, of Juda had two fingers on his right hand amputated. Both are expected to be discharged in three to four days.

Youth Burned Fatally In Tractor Upset Fire
