Colder Snow Forecast Hits Wisconsin Weekend
Sunshine this morning raised temperatures into the high 40s but a cold wave warning is issued for tonight as three to six inches of snow are forecast for the area tomorrow. A mass of frigid air moves in, with a low of 20 and highs around 28 tomorrow. Snow is expected to accumulate up to six inches by night, following a brief warm spell and last night's .05 inch rainfall. The night low dropped to 39.

Madison youth blamed in Viroqua girl shooting
Dennis Twing of Madison, a former suitor, was arrested in Richland Center then returned to Vernon County to face charges after a gunman wounded two Viroqua high school girls, Kay Broderick 15 and Lynn Lawson 18, in the Broderick home.
