Lucey urges aid for young farmers and school funds

Utilities report rising costs for Koshkonong nuclear plant

The Public Service Commission heard that the proposed Koshkonong nuclear plant near Lake Koshkonong south of Fort Atkinson now faces about 1.43 billion dollars in costs, roughly 400 million more than initial estimates. Delays and environmental protests push 1978 costs up by about 219 million, with another PSC hearing likely in January.
