Green County Board of Supervisors appointed Oscar Nybroton of Argyle to fill the unexpired term of Ralph McGuire who died October 23. The board met at the Green County Courthouse and approved bids for two patrol cars and two wagons, set up highway and budget actions, and scheduled a public budget hearing for November 16 at 8:30 p.m.
