The Monroe High School auditorium hosted a County 4 H Club awards event led by state leader W W McNeel. Students Keith Williams James Williams Janet Williams Lyn Milbrandt Theodore Falk Jeanette Discher Ruth Discher Mary Grenzow Virgil Kuehne Yas Zwicky Henry Burkhalter Schwarzenberger Madge Schocke Warzenberger and Madge Stabler were featured. Special awards were given by Mr Baker and Charles A Buck. Prizes included an 18 75 war bond and war stamps for Norman Gruenewald Betty Timm Mary Timm Ruth Foulker Gene Matzke Nathan Grenzow and others.
