Camp Area Near Yellowstone Lake Expected To Fill Fast
Campers are moving into Yellowstone Lake area early for the Memorial holiday and officials expect it to be full by tomorrow morning. Game manager Clarence Benkert notes high demand with reservations coming from as far as Chicago, and explains state campsites cannot be reserved. A nearby Zanders Lake at Browntown is off limits, while Browntown Wildlife Area gains a new well ready for holiday visitors. Overhead light poles are being installed and two new toilet facilities will begin construction soon with shared funding.
