Chicago Man Hurt in Mishap
A Chicago man, Harry Madsen, 58, suffered an left eye injury and a minor spine fracture when his car ran off Highway 92 in a rainstorm south of Mt. Vernon. Surgeons removed glass fragments from his eye after his glasses broke, and he was reported in satisfactory condition at St. Clare hospital.
