Prices for 40 pound blocks were unchanged to one eighth cent lower and for single daisies unchanged to one fourth cent higher. Morning Poppy Sales Net $454 for Auxiliary

Widow Found Slain In Milwaukee Home
A 68-year-old widow Irene Jan cik who cared for her two unmarried sons was found dead in the kitchen of her Milwaukee residence she had occupied for 40 years. Her throat was slashed and evidence of manual strangulation noted by county medical examiner Dr L J Van Hecke. The body was discovered by her son Joseph 28 on Friday after he returned from work. The examiner estimated death occurred 8 to 10 hours earlier.

William Donner 78 of Tucson Arizona died this morning after a long illness. He was brother of Fred Donner Monroe and a former construction engineer in the Indian service of the Interior Department for 48 years. Survivors include his wife two daughters five grandchildren four brothers and four sisters. He was a past master of the Masonic Blue Lodge and a member of Tucson consistory commandery and shrine. Services and burial will be in Tucson.

A barn a silo and a combined hay and tobacco shed were destroyed by fire Friday night on the George Baker farm about five miles west of here. No injuries are reported and the cause is under investigation by local firefighters and the county deputy.
