Fishermen Find Prospects Good In Wisconsin
Madison The general fishing season opens Saturday in Wisconsin with prospects good according to the State Conservation Department. Trout season north of Highway 54 starts Saturday while only large and small mouth bass are not legal. The department cites recent rains and cooler temperatures as factors. Standout spots include the Mississippi and Wisconsin rivers and Lake Winnebago with solid trout, panfish, northerns and walleyes reported across many counties.
