Mr and Mrs Myron Pederson of Monroe hosted a May 6 dinner for their daughter Darlene after she was confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church by Rev Larry Pinnow. Guests included Harold and Johnson families and several relatives from Monroe Blanchardville Cross Plains Albany and Horeb. Staff Sgt. John M. Dorcey and Miss Jane Ann Milks married March 24 at the Grand Forks Air Base chapel. The ceremony was by Chaplain Philip K. Foote with a 6 p.m. service, followed by a 55-guest buffet in Grand Forks and a May 20 reception in Brodhead. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Milks of Brodhead, wore a white empire gown with Venise lace and carried pink carnations and Sweetheart roses. maid of honor Mary Witte and bridesmaids Debra Staggs wore blue, with Connie Sue Milks singing. The groom is a 1968 Craig High School graduate serving in the Air Force. both families are from Wisconsin and North Dakota locales.
Mr and Mrs George Miller of Rt 1 Belleville will host an open house from 2 to 5 pm Sunday May 20 at St Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church Belleville to celebrate their 25th anniversary. They wed May 18 1948 at St Johns Waunakee and have three children Georgiana McDonald Brooklyn Richard and Karen at home and one grandson Scott McDonald.
