The Park and Recreation Department sponsors the Monroe Girls Softball League again this summer. A meeting for team managers or sponsors is set for Thursday May 16 at 8 p.m. at the Community Center. Last season five teams competed and Park and Recreation won the league. six teams are hoped this year. Players must be 16 or older. Games start June 13 on the west diamond at Trining Park.
