Monroe FFA land judging team takes third at national event

Monroe High School FFA land judging team finished third in the national contest in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. They also won the North Central Region title among 14 states. Coaches John Emmons and Ken Allen led seniors Jim Becker Bill Ludwig Steve Gobels Marlene Cordes Kim Diedrick. The group traveled from Monroe with plans to sightsee in St Louis after the event.

Beloit man held in contempt at murder trial
