The June Dairy Day event will be held Saturday June 25 in Albany sponsored by the Albany Volunteer Fire Department with Walter Althaus as general chairman.

Mrs. Palmer I. Peterson, 55, Des Moines Iowa, suffered rib and back injuries in a two car crash on Highway 11 between Monroe and Brown Town at about 8 30 this morning. Firestone Heir Leaps to Death in Havana Hotel
Harvey S. Firestone III, heir to the Firestone rubber fortune, died after climbing to a 20th floor balcony at the Havana Hilton. Authorities ruled the death a suicide. The 30-year-old lived in St. Petersburg, Florida, and used a wheelchair due to cerebral palsy. He arrived with an attendant and cousin David M. Firestone of Sarasota for a planned three day stay. Police were alerted after his disappearance around 7 p.m.
