Since 1968 the bank loaned the space rent free. donations needed include a boy size 4-5 boots a baby bed and mattress and baby clothing. Albany woman dies of burns in Milwaukee fire
Mrs Elsie Baumgartner 69 of Albany died at St Marys Burn Center Milwaukee at 3 50 pm Saturday March 20 eight hours after a home fire. She burned over 80 percent of her body 72 percent third degree. fire started from faulty wiring. She was taken to St Clare Hospital Monroe by Albany ambulance. Coroner ruled accidental death no inquest. Neighbors and relatives noted her life in Albany and on the Brooklyn Albany Town Line Road. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery at Albany after services Tuesday March 23 at Gohlke Sharer Funeral Home with Rev Oscar Stanke officiating.

Baby Born After Weekend Car Crash in Quincy
A baby girl born during a weekend automobile crash near U S 24 in Quincy is listed in satisfactory condition. The mother, Mrs. Robert Bange, 28, died, and her husband and three stepsons were injured when the car left the road and overturned. Passersby found the infant near the scene and she was later reported in good condition. The eight pound baby was said to have been ejected through the mother’s abdominal wall during the collision.
