Monroe Common Council Sees Ordinances And Resolutions Passed
The March 7 1973 council session approved a ordinance banning airplane parking at the Monroe Municipal Airport with a 12 hour limit and fines from ten to two hundred dollars. It also adopted a resolution naming William H. Edler as Plumbing Electrical and Building Inspector at a salary of 7640 plus 360 car allowance. multiple budget claims totaling 9060 21 were reviewed and endorsed for payment. The body heard licenses and bids, authorized underground storage tank installation, and approved street light replacements detour and park land transfer near the airport. Mayor Reasa welcomed Jaycees and commended the wrestling team before adjourning.
