Woman Survives Brain Tumor That Caused Unbelievable Growth
Delores Pollard Johnson, 24, of DeQuincy Louisiana, underwent a seven hour operation at Methodist Hospital Houston with Baylor College of Medicine surgeons to remove a brain tumor and the pituitary gland connected to it. The tumor, one inch in diameter, had driven excessive growth hormone causing her to reach 8 feet 2 inches and 430 pounds. The wife of a Louisiana farmer was reported in satisfactory condition after surgery.
