Big 4th of July camping weekend warns early arrival at state parks

The Department of Natural Resources says most state campgrounds will be full by Friday for the 4th of July weekend, with several parks likely to have space remaining. Fishing reports show varied success across Wisconsin with exceptional coho off Racine and Kenosha, strong muskies in the north, and good trout and crappie fishing in multiple counties. Water levels are below normal statewide, and autumn-like frost lingers in Necedah area low spots.
