Attlee Critiqued Over Korea Policy By American Editor
A United States observer criticizes Clement Attlee for pressuring Britain toward a cautious stance in Korea. The piece argues Attlee’s Labour wing leaves the US to bear most costs and risks, while British public and leadership largely back American actions. It claims imperial balance once held by Britain is gone and warns against yielding to socialist reformers who would weaken the alliance.
