Queens and dairy kings kickoff June Dairy Month at Brodhead bank
Two dairy figures drew attention at the Bank of Brodhead as June Dairy Month began. A nine year old Brown Swiss cow named Royal Jester Jill posed with Brodhead Dairy Queen Sue Wendler while a milk dispenser offered free samples to customers. The event highlighted farmer and dairy cattle roles amid 4-H and FFA ties, with Wisconsin’s dairy cow population noted at 1.8 million.
