Officials View Blood Project At Badger Center Meeting
Zone 1 officials and county co-chairmen gathered at the Holiday Inn in Madison for a Badger Regional Blood Center session. Donor recruitment and summer slump remedies dominated the discussion, with Dr. Merle Hamel outlining products from outdated blood and the center’s plasma distribution for hemophilia treatment. Green County recorded 479 pints this year with 362 pints still needed in four remaining bloodmobile visits, including Aug 15 New Glarus, Aug 16 Monticello, Sept 6 Monroe, and Dec 14 Brodhead.
