Tot Lot Activity Opens June Nineteen for Kindergarteners Not Eligible

Tot Lot, a summer program by the Parks and Recreation Department, will run June 19 to August 1 with two sessions for four and five year olds. Registrations close June 14 at 5 p.m. Each session accommodates thirty children and will operate 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on designated weekdays at Recreation Park shelter under leaders Miss Daphne Mauerman and Miss Debby Trumpy.

Swim Lessons Begin June 19 at Recreation Park Pool

Miss Virginia Raymer daughter of Mr and Mrs Lawrence Raymer Route 1 Monroe was honored by the Monroe BPW Club as an outstanding June graduate choosing nursing. She attends St Clare Hospital nurses aide course and will work at the hospital this summer before starting at Wisconsin State University Eau Claire in the fall. She plans four years of training plus summer sessions and has a strong science background from Monroe High School. The event included a dinner at Idle Hour Mansion and presentations to new members.
