Park vandalism prompts city warning and curfew
City officials issued a warning that vandals will be prosecuted for damage at Twining Park shelter and Recreation Park where tables and benches were destroyed. The Park Board described the situation as revolting and urged constant supervision and a new enforcement ordinance. Citizens were reminded no dogs in parks and horses may only use roadways.
