Anniversary Party Recital Honors Mrs Retrum's Ballet Milestone
The tenth annual dance recital by students of Mrs. Jean Retrum in Blanchardville is set for Saturday at 8 p.m. in Monroe High School Auditorium. About 150 students perform themes from past recitals, with ten-year students as special guests and a ten candles finale. Jo Jean Retrum, assistant teacher, and JoAnn Drye assist as costumes and production details unfold. The program celebrates Mrs. Retrum’s 20th year of teaching and features a guest singer Carolyn Carlson among many student performers.
