Farmers could not plow or plant and worked on fences and hay equipment. Corn planting nears completion while some peas beans potatoes tobacco beets and cucumbers were still being planted. Corn cultivating began where corn was up as pastures and hay fields improved from the prior week. Some spraying occurred on orchards and weed control started. Farm market prices showed little change.
