Morrison pushes amendments to 1975 77 Wisconsin Budget Bill

Senator Katie Morrison of Platteville leads two key amendments to AB 222 in the Senate. Amendment 7 would keep county board vote thresholds at 60 percent for a county wide assessment system, opposing the governor who seeks a majority vote. Amendment 8 would strip proposed levy limits from the bill, arguing locally elected officials should decide tax levels.
